We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated, business professional to join our team in the role of Marketing Assistant in our West Edmonton location.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing compelling product content for all company websites, coordinating and exhibiting at industry trade shows and special events, tracking and analyzing website traffic, researching and developing customer databases and conducting market research to assess industry trends and competitive
threats.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary business diploma, specializing in marketing and/or communications
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and advanced Excel skills
- Work experience planning trade shows and special events
- Web content development experience and working knowledge of SEO techniques
- Experience with social media advertising
- Experience building and managing company webpages with e-commerce capabilities would be a valuable asset
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Adobe Photoshop and InDesign experience would be beneficial
