Coordinator Online Marketing

At Holt Renfrew our mission is to present exceptional experiences together with the finest luxury products for life’s every day and extraordinary moments.  The Coordinator, Online Marketing defines the luxury lifestyle shopping experience through building lasting relationships with our people, customers and partners by coordinating, supporting and executing digital marketing strategies and activities with the goal of increasing revenue and traffic to all Holt Renfrew digital channels.


Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:
  • Administer and oversee the ongoing maintenance of Online Marketing programs or processes
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute digital product launches, promotions and marketing campaigns in alignment with brand standards
  • Assist internal teams to plan and execute initiatives to drive traffic to all Holt Renfrew digital channels using tools including but not limited to, email marketing, display banner advertising, SEM, SEO, social media
  • Execute email strategy
  • Work with internal teams and email Service Provider to schedule, test and deploy emails
  • Work with Online Analysts to review data, develop reports and monitor and measure campaign success
  • Provide input to optimize campaigns that deliver relevant marketing content to customers and influencers at the right time during the buying cycle
  • Using CMS and working with Content & UX team, set-up, test and successfully deploy online promotions
  • Develop, write and edit a variety of online marketing messages and communication as required
  • Clearly communicate technical information to a non-technical audience
  • Assist in the development of critical paths and the roll out of all related projects and programs
  • Coordinates project/event/initiative implementations including critical paths, monitoring of progress, development of launch materials, communication and results tracking
  • Update and maintain manual and automated information in all related databases
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for the improvement of processes and  performance
  • Participate in the updating and distribution of Online Marketing internal program materials and policies
  • Complies with all Health & Safety policies and requirements
  • Other duties and projects as assigned

The ideal candidate:
  • Post-secondary degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • 1-2 years of post-university work experience
  • Previous experience using an email deployment tool (knowledge of ESPs in marketplace)
  • Experience managing and editing sites using a CMS system
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics or other analytics tool
  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices and how they pertain to content
  • Demonstrated leadership and influencing skills with the ability to get things done 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; a team player who is able to act as both a leader and an individual contributor as required
  • Confident and effective communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Is adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity and change 
  • Highly service-oriented with exceptional organizational and follow up skills
  • Passionate about fashion and luxury retailing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
