IT Buyer – 6-month contract Canada -COR00001736

Responsibilities

• Provide operational procurement services for Goldcorp’s Information Technology Purchases
• Create and manage purchase orders, changes, expediting, deliveries and cancellations in compliance with Goldcorp’s Commercial Practices
• Work with end users to clarify requirements, provide policy/process guidance and proactively communicate changes in order status
• Conduct sourcing for one-off spot buys in collaboration with end users
• Ensure that accurate lead times are maintained and available for end-users


• Work with suppliers to facilitate returns, damage/warranty claims and resolve performance issues
• Work with accounts payable and suppliers to resolve invoice discrepancies
• Assist IT Category Team in maximizing purchases on agreements and catalogues
• Assist with maintaining supplier and item data
• Report any significant supply problems to IT Category Team

 Requirements:
• Post-secondary diploma/degree in business or other related area or equivalent years of experience
• 2+ years procurement experience
• Experience working with SAP Materials Management
• Ariba Spend Management and PO/Invoice automation experience desirable
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and organization skills
• Proficient in English and Spanish
